Andrea’s professional rating career started at a national property management company 10 years ago, managing business rates on a wide range of properties including offices, industrial and shopping centres.
She then moved client side and assisted head of departments in valuation at Manchester, Liverpool, Leeds and Scotland at Colliers.
She has now been at Form since in 2022 where she heads up the business rates team, and specialises in valuation, rates account management and empty rates through her rating education and hands on work experience.
Accomplishments
- Navigated previous employer through a bad charity avoidance scheme, negotiating a lower settlement in Coventry court, saving them £300,000.
- Saved a client 250k from a compulsory purchase order.
- Won at Valuation Tribunal in Birmingham regarding issues with land. Saving Client 10k
- Assisted Head of Colliers in Manchester with all the CCA appeals after the ATM Supreme Court decision was upturned, saving Clients millions.
